Many school systems invest in professional development as a habit, offering the same set of teacher-training courses each year. But some promising ideas could change that.

    Excellent and scary. I spent 7 years in art school. Developing skills on my own was built into my DNA. But the acceleration of tech requirements has begun to keep me out of projects. I am racing to develop skills that are in demand, rather than polish my comfort zones.
