Education to Employment:
Designing a System that Works
On December 10, McKinsey will host an event reviewing the findings of a comprehensive study that examines the dangerous disconnect between youth and jobs. Around the world, employers report that they cannot find enough skilled workers; at the same time, 75 million young people are unemployed. What is going on?
Our report — to be released on December 5 — explores this question, drawing on a unique survey of more than 8,000 young people, educators and employers in nine countries.* We have also compiled more than 100 case studies, documenting innovative approaches to creating an effective education-to-employment system.
We hope you will join us for this digital broadcast, which brings together academic, government and business experts from four continents. The event will include a presentation of the McKinsey research; a discussion with panelists; and a live audience Q&A.
(*Brazil, Germany, India, Mexico, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, United Kingdom and United States)
